We are Lene & Stig, and we have had our beloved log cabin in Hornbæk since 2012, where we fell in love with the cabin at first sight. Here we share many good times - both in the summer on the terrace and in the winter in front of the wood-burning stove. Most of all, we enjoy the cottage because a very special calm descends on us as soon as we step through the door. Here we get a change from everyday life, where we get down in gear and feel the coziness and nature of the cottage.
Just as we fell in love with the cottage, we were also sold to the area in Hornbæk. It offers a wide range of cozy day trips, recommendable places to visit and unique forests between Hornbæk and Helsingør, and not least Hornbæk's famous sandy beach. For us, there is always a new walk or bike ride with exciting experiences. The sea offers more adventures, which can be experienced on a sea safari from the Øresund Aquarium. Tegners Museum is full of statues and wild nature, which we often visit. In the warmer months, we bring a bottle of white wine, find a bench and enjoy the pleasant rays of the sun that light up the park in a very special way. We also recommend a walk along Hornbæk's main street and a coffee from Albi's coffee shop, as well as a trip to the lively harbor.

Very well-equipped kitchen - with a few shortcomings and outdated equipment, but still well above average.
We had a dog with us, and both he and we were very happy with the fenced plot.
Unfortunately, the bed was far too soft - it was like sleeping in a hammock. As a good night's sleep is part of a good vacation, I would recommend buying a new bed of good quality. It's a shame for an otherwise lovely house that the bed is poor.
