Welcome to the nature of West Mecklenburg! This former hayloft has been transformed into a modern 150 m² luxury apartment on two levels connected by a spiral staircase. Here you can retreat from everyday life and enjoy the peace and beauty of nature.
Our farmhouse with four individual apartments, each with a separate entrance, offers you plenty of space and privacy. On the first floor of the apartment, you will find a large living and dining area with a free-standing kitchen block and fine natural stone materials. A small but nice bedroom and a bathroom with bathtub round off the offer. The spiral staircase leads you to a cozy gallery with a large corner sofa with fireplace and another bedroom with its own bathroom.
The highlight of the 12,000 square meter communal garden is the natural swimming pond. Sun loungers and small seating areas guarantee that everyone will find their favorite spot. You can end the evening in the glass pavilion and, with a bit of luck, watch herons and deer. You can barbecue at the fire pit or sit around the campfire in the evening.
The surrounding area offers numerous opportunities for excursions. Visit the nearby Schaalsee and the other lakes in the biosphere reserve of the same name. Enjoy hours of walking through this natural paradise with its secluded bathing bays or take a bike tour into the Elbe floodplain.
The communal house for up to 25 people with a professional kitchen, seminar room and a sauna from winter 2023 can be used by arrangement.

Hello, we are Heike and Achim. We came to this small village in West Mecklenburg by chance 12 years ago and we fell in love spontaneously. Just over an hour away from Hamburg, we find ourselves in a completely different world here. Cobblestones, meadows and forests, peace and quiet and a friendly village community - we really appreciate all of these things about our home. Our large garden with its natural swimming pond, old fruit trees and flower meadows is a wonderful place to relax. We hope that you will feel as comfortable here as we do.
