Welcome to the nature of West Mecklenburg! This former hayloft has been transformed into a modern 150 sqm luxury apartment on two levels, connected by a spiral staircase. Here you can retreat from everyday life and enjoy the peace and beauty of nature.
Our farmhouse with four individual apartments, each with a separate entrance, offer you plenty of space and privacy. On the first floor of the apartment, a large living and dining area with a free-standing kitchen unit and fine natural stone materials awaits you. A small but nice bedroom and a bathroom with bathtub complete the offer. The spiral staircase leads you to a cozy gallery with a large corner sofa with fireplace and another bedroom with private bathroom.
The highlight of the 12,000-square-foot community garden is the natural swimming pond. Deck chairs and small seating areas guarantee that everyone will find their favorite spot. In the glass pavilion you can enjoy the evening and with a little luck watch herons and deer. At the fireplace you can barbecue or sit together in the evening around the campfire.
The surrounding area offers numerous possibilities for excursions. Visit the nearby Schaalsee and the other lakes in the biosphere reserve of the same name. Enjoy hour-long walks through this natural paradise with its secluded swimming bays or take a bike tour in the Elbtalaue.
The community house for up to 25 people with professional kitchen, seminar room and a sauna from winter 2023, can be used in consultation.

Hello, we are Heike and Achim. 12 years ago we came by chance to this small village in West Mecklenburg and we spontaneously fell in love. Only a good hour away from Hamburg, we find ourselves in a completely different world here. Cobblestone streets, meadows and forests, peace and quiet and a nice village community - all this is what we really appreciate about our home. Our large garden with the natural swimming pond, old fruit trees and flower meadows is a wonderful place to relax. We hope that you will feel as comfortable here as we do.
