You will spend your vacation in a barn-like wooden house with unique architecture reminiscent of the local tobacco barns. The half of the house you will be staying in can accommodate up to five people. It is part of a complex that is architecturally connected to the neighboring half by a shared high roof.
The bright living and dining room opens onto the garden and the wild willow forest through a large window. While cooking, you have a view of the village street. In the attic, there are three sleeping alcoves on a gallery, plus a separate bedroom with a view of the garden. An external gallery connects both houses.
On 7,500 square meters, you will find wild meadows and an old willow forest with hammocks. Sunny and shady spots invite you to play, relax, and enjoy evening campfires. The garden slopes gently and opens onto a wide meadow landscape where the neighbor's sheep and horses sometimes graze. Your four-legged companions are also welcome here by prior arrangement – just contact us in advance with a quick inquiry.
Buchholz is located in the 800-square-kilometer Uckermärkische Seen Nature Park. 600 kilometers of hiking trails and over 150 kilometers of waterways crisscross the gently rolling landscape. Several lakes can be reached by bike in just a few kilometers. The village has 29 houses and just under 50 residents.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.
