Shrouded by preserved nature and clear seawater in beautiful Odsherred

In the middle of UNESCO Global Geopark Odsherred lies a classic oasis with black-painted wood, white mullioned windows and a sprawling outdoor space for the whole family to explore. On the beautiful natural grounds, you'll find two houses from 1936, which were originally two separate summer cottages. From ancient times, the houses on the road have been given names, which is why the main house is called 'Skovhuset' and the annex is called 'Kukkeren' and is built from material found on the road after the war. The family has expanded 'Skovhuset' with a new bathroom and kitchen, and completely renovated 'Kukkeren' - except for the beautiful vaulted ceiling.

'Skovhuset' consists of a lovely large entrance hall with space for outerwear and footwear, adjacent to the bathroom with shower and washing machine. There is underfloor heating in both the entrance hall and the bathroom. In the cozy kitchen, there is plenty of work space so you can prepare food together. One end of the living room has a wood-burning stove and a cozy corner with TV, sofa and wicker chairs, while the other end has a dining area with a dining table that can be pulled out to seat many. In the garden room there is a small desk and otherwise the room invites you to relax. Here you can watch a deer with its kid pass through the garden just outside the large wing doors. Finally, there's a lovely bedroom, and on the other side of the hallway you'll find the bunk room with authentic old bunks that have just been given a good coat of paint. The 'Kukkeren' consists of a small kitchen, a small and cozy living room with access to the terrace, and a lovely cool little bedroom. The bed isn't quite as wide, but if you're young and newly in love, you can easily sleep two in it, or you can supplement it with an air mattress.

The garden is lovely and sunny with the opportunity to seek some shade. Here you have a beautiful view of old plantings all around, as well as lovely apple trees, wild climbing roses and raised beds with lavender and herbs ready to pick and take into the kitchen. There are a total of three terraces with garden furniture and umbrellas so you can easily move to the sun. Behind the house is a small courtyard with an outdoor shower, woodshed and outbuilding, where you'll find sun loungers and equipment for the beach, a push cart and various outdoor games. There's also a small barbecue that you can take to the beach.

Put on your walking shoes and explore the area's lovely forests or take a walk along the beach. If you enjoy cycling, the area offers many trails and good routes in the hilly moraine landscape with captivating views. The area also offers many cozy flea markets, farm shops and great places to eat for all tastes.
