My husband, Tomas, and I bought the house a couple of years ago as a place for the family to gather. Our children are grown and most of them have left home. We wanted to have a place where we can create a common base for being together, but also have the opportunity to retreat a little. We wanted to create a place where there is peace and quiet, where time passes slowly and where we can create memories together.

We love being at the beach, buying ice cream at the ice cream parlor, visiting local second-hand shops and going for walks in the dune plantation. We are all nature lovers and love the cabin and the 10,000 square meters of land where you can stay without the need to go anywhere. We celebrate Christmas and birthdays here, enjoy the wildlife, beach walks and just being together and having a good time with board games or a campfire.

This beautiful log cabin exceeded our high expectations. We felt at home right away and the outdoor hot tub was just great. Everything from music to candlesticks, blankets and cozy pictures have been thought of. We fed the birds in the small birdhouse and enjoyed watching both birds and squirrels. The beach and nature were top notch. Tversted Plantagen is a beautiful and magnificent experience not to be missed. High recommendation from here.
