My name is Sie, and together with my husband and our three children aged one, five and seven, I live in Aarhus, Denmark. Here, everyday life goes on with work, school, kindergarten and daycare. The summer house is our sanctuary, we come here often.
On Samsø we can breathe, relax and be together in a different way. For us, our vacation starts as soon as we set foot on the ferry. The summer house gives us the peace to do different things together than we usually do, and we enjoy that to the fullest. We use the nature around the house a lot; we go for walks by the water or around the lovely nature area, play with blocks and read books, and we have developed a nice habit of drawing maps and doing treasure hunts in the area. We also enjoy taking a trip to Langøre Harbor or into Nordby where there is a playground and local cafés and shops.
