My name is Sie, and together with my husband and our three children aged one, five and seven, I live in Aarhus. Here we go about our daily lives with work, school, kindergarten and nursery. The summer house is our sanctuary and we come here often.
On Samsø we can exhale, lower our shoulders and be together in a different way. For us, the vacation starts as soon as we set foot on the ferry. The summer house gives us the peace and quiet to do other things together than we usually do, and we enjoy that to the fullest. We use the nature around the house a lot; we go for walks by the water or around the lovely nature area, play with blocks and read books, and we have developed a nice habit of drawing maps and doing treasure hunts in the area. We also enjoy taking a trip to Langøre Harbor or into Nordby where there is a playground and local cafés and shops.
