This handcrafted log cabin offers a unique combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern comfort. The harmoniously designed house impresses with its special construction, in which each log has been carefully adjusted by hand.
The spacious upper floor houses the sleeping and living area, which impresses with its cantilevered design. The large gable windows offer breathtaking views of the mountain meadows. The ground floor features a kitchen, bathroom, and a cozy dining area. The 1,000 sqm natural plot offers various seating areas around the house.
From your location in Buntenbock, you can head straight into nature – whether for hiking in summer or cross-country skiing in winter. The Hasenbacher Teich pond is ideal for swimming and fishing, while the mountain town of Clausthal-Zellerfeld, just 3 km away, offers restaurants and shopping facilities.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.

The two natural log houses were built by a timber house manufacturer specializing in this type of construction.
As a working couple, we did most of the interior work ourselves over a period of three years, putting our heart and soul into it.
As lovers of solid wood houses, it was our dream to create something special here in the Upper Harz region—a unique vacation home that is unlike anything else in the area.
