This is a characterful stone house in the north of the Dordogne, surrounded by tranquility and open landscapes. The estate covers 4.5 hectares—a mix of garden, meadow, and forest, with several terraces and secluded spots.
The house exudes history, but has been carefully renovated to become a bright and comfortable place where authenticity and refinement meet. Inside, you will find natural materials, soothing colors, and thoughtful details. No frills, just quality and simplicity. Large windows bring the landscape inside.
This private estate wing offers the perfect balance of togetherness and privacy for up to 6 guests, featuring two distinct living spaces.
The Main Apartment: Occupying the first floor, this bright space sleeps 4 across two en-suite bedrooms and includes a full kitchen and a 6-person dining area.
The Former Bakery: A cozy, detached cottage for 2, complete with its own kitchenette and bathroom for ultimate independence. Pets can only be allowed in this part of the property (Two small dogs or one larger dog maximum)
Guests also enjoy a shared ground-floor dining hall and multiple scenic terraces throughout the grounds. With private bathrooms for every bedroom, it’s an ideal setup for families or couples seeking a blend of social time and personal retreat.
Outside, you can enjoy the luxury of space. You can walk straight into the forest, read in the shade of old trees, or choose a terrace for a long evening. On hot days, the pool offers refreshment, while the hammam is a peaceful place to relax after a hike.
In the early morning or at sunset, deer regularly appear at the edge of the meadow. In summer, the garden is teeming with butterflies and filled with birdsong. Saint-Estèphe and the north of the Dordogne remain authentic. From the estate, you can set off on foot or by bike into the countryside. The Grand Étang de Saint-Estèphe is perfect for swimming.

We fell in love with this place for its peace, space, and connection to nature. Set on a generous plot surrounded by greenery, it offers a true sense of calm from the moment you arrive.
We especially enjoy being outdoors here — starting the day with coffee on one of the terraces, listening to the birds, or simply taking in the views. With a bit of luck, you might spot deer or other wildlife passing by, especially in the early morning or at sunset.
While we cherish the tranquility, we also appreciate the variety the area has to offer. From here, you can easily explore charming villages, visit local markets, or head out for a walk or bike ride through the beautiful countryside. And afterwards, it’s always a pleasure to return to the peace and quiet of the estate.
For us, this is a place to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the simple pleasures of outdoor living, good food, and time together — and we hope you’ll experience that same feeling during your stay.
