About us...

We are Ramón and Michelle, born and raised in Amsterdam. We met in 2011 at a party at Ramón's neighbors' house, and a few months later we were living together with our five boys. It soon became clear that we both had a SPANISH DREAM, but with five boys who were still very young, this would have to wait a while. Now, 12.5 years later, our Spanish dream has become a reality in the form of Casa Walhalla & Cortijo El Páramo.

Our goal is to offer our guests an unforgettable time in breathtaking surroundings and, above all, to give them the opportunity to completely relax and unwind. As hosts, nothing is too much trouble for us, from tips on places of interest to various outdoor activities in the area to an extra towel by the pool. We would like to take you along on our dream on the Costa Tropical in the middle of the Sierra Nevada La Alpujarras National Park.

Casa Walhalla has become a small, self-created idyllic spot on the sunny Costa Tropical in Andalusia, Spain. Here you can relax in the sun by the pool while enjoying the spectacular view of the beautiful Spanish mountainous nature reserve Las Alpujarras on the southern flank of the Sierra Nevada and even the Mediterranean Sea. After a wonderful creative or sporty day or a day at the beach, you can retreat here. Because we have Cortijo El Páramo for you, your own luxury private cottage in a romantic Bohemian Alpujarran atmosphere, where you can sleep comfortably and fill your own refrigerator.
