We are a family of five, with three adult children. My wife and I live by the sea in Gjemnes Municipality and love to take advantage of all the great opportunities the mountains, areas and not least the cabin have to offer in all seasons. So do our children, and the cabin has become an important place for our whole family.
When we're at the cabin, we enjoy cycling on the mountain roads in the valley and the area around Oppdal, and canoeing on the river and Ånggardsvatnet lake. Hiking along the many beautiful forest trails in the birch forest and snowy mountains, cross-country skiing or randone, slalom, hiking both summer and winter, picking berries and mushrooms, swimming on the many beautiful sandy beaches around the mountain lakes, hunting and chopping our own wood are also activities we appreciate together. Or just relaxing in the sun. We hope that others will also be able to experience the many wonderful adventures to be found in the mountains and Storlidalen, and we look forward to welcoming guests here.
