We are a family of five, with three grown-up children. My wife and I live by the sea in Gjemnes Municipality and love to take advantage of all the great opportunities the mountains, areas and not least the cabin have to offer in all seasons. Our children do the same, and the cabin has become an important place for our whole family.
When we're at the cabin, we like to go cycling on the mountain roads in the valley and the area around Oppdal, and go canoeing on the river and Ånggardsvatnet lake. Hiking along the many beautiful forest trails in the birch forest and the snowy mountains, cross-country skiing or randonee, slalom, summit hikes in both summer and winter, picking berries and mushrooms, swimming on the many beautiful sandy beaches around the mountain lakes, hunting and chopping our own wood are also activities we enjoy together. Or just relaxing in the sun. We hope that others can also experience the many great adventures to be found in the mountains and Storlidalen, and we look forward to welcoming guests here.
