When Florian and I walked into the Waldloft for the first time in 2021, we immediately fell in love with the surrounding nature and green mountains. From software development to renovation, it was an exciting journey. We wanted to work hands-on and experience visible results of our work. With a lot of dedication, we transformed the loft into a modern home without losing its original charm. It feels like the converted factory lofts in my hometown of Leipzig, only surrounded by forest. Maritta and Herbert, Florian's local relatives, were on hand to help us.
