We bought the cottage in 2020 after 12 years of living in an apartment in Turkey - and it's our best investment to date. The house is our "fifth child" and we use it almost every weekend and during all vacations. Since the acquisition, we have constantly developed both the house and the interior design and will probably never be completely finished.
The cottage - and not least the beautiful nature - is our sanctuary where we really relax and enjoy life.
With only 300 meters to the Kattegat - we often take walks along the water on the "North Sea Trail" - which goes north to Hou and south to Hals Harbour. In Hou there is a fishmonger selling delicious freshly caught fish, and in Hals you can buy groceries and shop in the small and cozy shops. Many of our neighbors often use the local golf course, which is only 150 m from our holiday home.
