Holiday home with pool between beach and forest

We are Nonni and Lars. This has been our labor of love since 2004.

We are the third generation to live here and love this area, the authentic classic Danish summer house idyll combined with modern comforts. With more than 22 years of ownership, we have renovated and created a personal touch in and around the house. The harmonious and ethereal interior design in coordinated natural colors invites you to relax, be present, and immerse yourself. The contrast to Copenhagen is that you can feel the silence, the calmness sets in, and your shoulders drop as soon as you step onto the old natural grounds. We love the direct access from the master bedroom to the private pool, which is perfect for a wonderful dip as the best start to the day. Relax on the sun loungers on one of the four terraces with a good book and perhaps enjoy a refreshment before dinner. In the evening, experience a beautiful sunset or a magnificent starry sky from the grounds at night. The large, well-maintained and disciplined natural grounds with old oak trees and heather are naturally conducive to relaxation and shared meals with family and friends under the open sky. We find the location of the house to be excellent, less than 550 m from the wonderful beach at Korevlerne in Sejerø Bay - known as one of Denmark's best bathing beaches with shallow, clear water and wide sandy strips, perfect for a refreshing dip, walk, or run along the water's edge. The Ellinge Indhegning forest is just a stone's throw away – perfect for both walking and cycling under the canopy of trees. There are also some really exciting and good restaurants nearby – several of which have made it onto the "world map" with both 1 and 2 Michelin stars and are definitely worth a visit. The house is also well located, close to everything and in the middle of Sejerø Bay in Odsherred, which was officially listed as a UNESCO Global Geopark in 2014 as the first geopark in Denmark.
