The house was exactly as described. For some reason, I always assume that descriptions are a bit "embellished," but that wasn't the case here at all. It was exactly as shown in the photos, and I find it hard to believe that houses in this location still exist. The "seclusion" was very important to us. The nature surrounding the cottage was magnificent. So many animals, not a soul in sight, and the view—even first thing in the morning when we woke up—was simply magnificent. Plus, everything was so lovingly and cozily furnished that I truly felt at home (for the first time in a vacation home). Mette was so incredibly friendly, and we felt so welcome with our dog. I will definitely come back someday. Whether in winter, spring, or summer... This house is sure to be a highlight in every season!
And by the way... the cherry wine and the welcome gift are simply unbelievably delicious!
