Enchanting East Frisia captivates visitors with its incomparable natural landscape and rich cultural diversity. Here, surrounded by idyllic rural areas, away from the tourist crowds, you will find a place of peace and relaxation.
In the middle of this village idyll is the former farm worker's house, which welcomes its guests with an inviting atmosphere. The spacious 120 m² house offers enough space for up to 6 people and a small child. A special highlight is the underfloor heating, which warms the entire first floor and provides additional comfort.
In the bedroom on the first floor, the historic shutters create a pleasant darkness and ensure a restful sleep on a bed width of 180x200cm. The spacious open-plan kitchen is equipped with modern appliances and offers everything you need for cozy cooking evenings. Afterwards, the comfortable sofa corner in the corner of the room invites you to end the evening relaxing together.
A wooden staircase leads you to the light-flooded upper floor with its inviting gallery character. Here you can relax and dream in the two charming bedrooms under the cozy sloping ceilings - one is furnished with a spacious double bed (180x200cm), while the other has two comfortable single beds (90x200cm). There is also a cozy play corner where little guests can spend hours reading or doing arts and crafts to have a great time.
The spaciousness of the house flows seamlessly into a beautifully landscaped garden.
The spacious atmosphere of the house continues harmoniously in the enchantingly designed garden with a charming cottage garden. An idyllic spot at the end of the garden invites you to linger, while the two terraces offer perfect retreats to enjoy the wonderful rural atmosphere to the full, especially in spring and fall.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.

Highlights from Wiebke
Host since June 2023
- A successful symbiosis of originality and modernity with underfloor heating and contemporary furnishings
- Spaciousness: inviting expanse in the house and garden
- Dreamy garden retreat in the middle of picturesque countryside
We, Wiebke and Manfred, have been at home in East Frisia for 15 years. Enthusiastic about historical monuments, we live with our three children in a former poorhouse. The former farm worker's house dates back to around 1750. During the renovation in 2020, it was important to us to retain the historic character of the house and breathe new life into it. Today it is a spacious abode with cozy living comfort and modern furnishings.
