The annex with two beds is open from May-October, and it is then possible to use the annex for accommodation instead of the loft. November-April, the annex is closed and two beds are available in the loft.
The loft is best suited to children/young people aged 10 and over due to the ladder to the loft and the low ceiling height in the loft.
The shed and garage are locked and not accessible.

You can start the morning with fresh air and beautiful natural surroundings right outside the door, and end the day with a pleasant gathering on the terrace, in the conservatory or in the shelter in Øyom Park or by the river. Please note that the shelter in Øyom Park must be rented, otherwise you must give way to others who may have rented the shelter.
The area offers a number of outdoor activities such as football golf, frisbee golf and sand volleyball court. There are a number of cycling and hiking trails, as well as the opportunity to explore local attractions such as Hunderfossen, Dovre National Park, Trollveggen, Trollstigen, Rampestreken and the gondola to Nesaksla in Åndalsnes. Hi, my name is Belinda and my partner Bjørn Tore and I own this cozy cabin. We look forward to welcoming you and are sure you will enjoy your stay here. The cabin is our family's sanctuary and a place for unforgettable memories. We hope it will be the same for you.
From time to time, we like to bring family and friends to the cabin.
In the summer, we spend a lot of time outside. We enjoy the sun on the terrace, and often grill a better dinner outside. If the sun gets too hot, we use the awning so we can sit in the shade. Here we enjoy being close to nature. We feed the birds and squirrels on the bird feeder down by the terrace. Sometimes the squirrels are so curious that they eat from our hand, and then disappear into the trees at breakneck speed with the day's catch. Some days we enjoy fishing or a dip in the river across the road. By the river it's a little cooler and great to enjoy the day for both young and old when the sun is at its hottest. Just over the bridge there's fine sand to play in, and for the little ones there are lots of nice rocks to look at by the river. If you want to look around and explore the local area, there are many great places to go hiking both along the river and in the mountains. For those who like to drive, there are many places to explore that are less than an hour's drive away. There are several places you can drive into the mountains and explore. Trollveggen, Trollstigen, Åndalsnes with Rampestreken, gondola, shops and restaurants - everything is only approx. 45min. - 1 hour away from the cabin. If you want to explore Dovrefjell and look at musk oxen, do some shopping and have dinner at Dombås, you can get there in around an hour's drive. Otta, with its many shops, shopping center and several restaurants is about 2 hours away. In the summer, we like to take a trip to Hunderfossen and Lilleputthammer, which is about 3 hours away and is a fantastic experience for children of all ages. If you start early in the morning and return to the cabin late in the evening, you can get there in a day trip, but we usually stay overnight in Øyer, so we have more time when we first go to Hunderfossen.
In the fall, we go for walks in the woods and fields, go berry picking, and in the fall evenings we like to spend time in the conservatory, where we light a fire on cold evenings and enjoy the warmth.
In winter, we like to go cross-country skiing in the area around the cabin. We also often take out our skis for a bit of speed and excitement on the slopes behind the cabin. We enjoy slalom and telemark skiing, so some days are also spent in the ski area at Bjorli, which is just a 7-8 minute drive away. When the day out skiing is over, we head back to the cabin, fire up the oven, cook a good meal, light some candles and enjoy ourselves. The day often ends with a board or card game, or with a bit of TV watching.
Regardless of the season or your interests, it's all about enjoying yourself, and we hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do.
