Two generations refuge in magical Lønstrup

In the idyllic town on the west coast, the house is on the coastal road. The summer house is classic but newly renovated, embraced by dune landscape and the coast's white and wide sandy beaches. Here, love has been put into every square metre, marked by personal, calm and aesthetic details.

Step inside and you'll be enveloped in tranquillity and cosiness, with white-painted wood on the walls and sloping ceilings, warm and soothing colours and soft fabrics that combine to create the perfect setting for gathering in down-to-earth surroundings. The décor is characterised by flea market finds as well as new, carefully selected purchases, lots of candles and fairy lights, and the walls are hung with paper cuttings that the family sell themselves through their business. Choose one of the house's hand-picked ceramic cups for your morning coffee, open the terrace doors wide and enjoy the sun, the silence, the birds whistling and the wind blowing through the tall grass of the dunes. In the evening, curl up on the sofa or play a game of board games while enjoying the warmth of the wood-burning stove and its crackling sounds.

The summer house has 4 terraces in total, one of which is completely uncluttered and offers plenty of space to relax, while the other overlooks the entire garden. The house is situated on a large grassy area where you can play football, pitch tents, spread out water blankets and enjoy the sun's rays. The lovely garden also has a large fire pit where you can gather and enjoy each other's company. As the evening approaches, you can take a glass of wine in hand, walk up to the dunes behind the house and enjoy the most amazing view over the dunes and the sea, and watch the sun go down.

Hop on one of the house's bikes and head to Løkken where you can take a walk along the bathhouses or to the hundred-year-old Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse surrounded by sand. Lønstrup's stunning scenery offers many hiking trails, including the Lønstrup Klint which also tells a fascinating story. Lønstrup town has plenty of cosy cafés, ice cream parlours and local craftsmen whose shops you can browse. Just outside Lønstrup you will also find Skallerup Seaside Resort which offers a lot of activities for all ages.
