Two generations refuge in magical Lønstrup

In the idyllic town on the west coast, the house is located on the coastal road. The cottage is classic but newly renovated, surrounded by dunes and the coast's white and wide sandy beaches. Every square meter is filled with love and characterized by personal, calm and aesthetic details.

When you step inside, you are enveloped in peace and coziness with the white painted wood on the walls and sloping ceilings, the warm and soothing colors and soft textiles, which together create the perfect setting for socializing in earthy surroundings. The decor is characterized by flea market finds and new, carefully selected purchases, lots of candles and fairy lights, and on the walls are paper cuttings that the family sells through their business. Choose one of the house's hand-picked ceramic cups for your morning coffee, open the patio doors wide and enjoy the sun, the silence, the birds whistling and the wind blowing through the tall grass of the dunes. In the evening, curl up on the sofa or play a game of board games while enjoying the warmth and crackling sounds of the wood-burning stove.

The cottage has 4 terraces in total, one of which is completely secluded with plenty of space to retreat, while the other overlooks the entire garden. The house is set on a large grassy area where you can play football, pitch tents, spread out blankets and enjoy the sunshine. The beautiful garden also has a large fire pit where you can gather and enjoy each other's company. As evening approaches, grab a glass of wine in hand, head up to the dunes behind the house and enjoy the most stunning views of the dune landscape and sea, and watch the sun go down.

Hop on one of the house's bicycles and head to Løkken where you can take a walk along the bathhouses or to the hundred-year-old Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse surrounded by sand. Lønstrup's fantastic nature offers many hiking routes, including Lønstrup Klint, which also tells an exciting story. Lønstrup town has plenty of cozy cafés, ice cream parlors and local artisans whose shops you can browse around. Just outside Lønstrup you'll also find Skallerup Seaside Resort, which offers lots of activities for all ages.
