My name is Gry, and we are a family with 3 teenagers who live in Oslo on a daily basis. We love that our cabin is located in the highest (900 m) and most beautiful high mountain terrain on Lake Sjusjøen. Here, the snow comes first and goes last during the ski season. We use the cabin a lot ourselves, and have furnished it with the idea that both young and old will enjoy themselves and find peace in the mountains. For us, the cabin is a gathering place for the extended family who live spread out in the country, but it was designed so that it is very cozy to be there with just the core family of 5 as well. In winter you can strap on your skis outside the cabin door and in summer there are lovely hiking trails in the mountains, molts in the marsh and nice swimming and rowing in our canoe on Lake Kroksjøen.
