Our names are Steen and Britt, and we live in Greater Copenhagen. After dreaming of becoming holiday home owners for several years, we bought the cottage in February 2020 and thoroughly enjoyed having a little 'sanctuary' during the lockdown. Our three children are all grown up, so it's especially now that we have the time to enjoy our sanctuary.
We fell in love with Nysted on our first visit. Here we have it all - a cozy and very authentic market town with few but good shops, fine dining and a fantastic bakery. We love our sanctuary. It's where we relax and unwind. We enjoy nature and tranquillity and love the beautiful walks in the area - along the coast, by the marina, in Aalholm Castle Park and through the city. We also like to take a drive into the cozy town of Nykøbing Falster.

Super great house! Very nice and lovingly furnished, very personal. We felt right at home. There was everything you need. A large terrace and the view of the sea and the surroundings were terrific. Great location, very quiet and relaxing! We and our little son could totally enjoy it!
