Welcome to the lovely holiday home at Dråby Strand on Mols. A charming seaside hotel atmosphere awaits you with beautiful, broad-striped wallpaper in muted shades of blue, white and pink in combination with wood, natural materials and a personal and cozy mix of new and old finds. In the wonderful flowering garden, you can enjoy the scent and sight of wildflowers, rose hedges, clematis and lavender with the blue sky as a backdrop.
Sip your morning coffee in the sun on the viewing bench on the terrace and enjoy the view of the Kattegat, the garden flowers and the gentle morning air. Then it's just a matter of deciding what to do for the day. A walk along Dråby Strand, where you collect pebbles and shells and take a dip in the fresh waves. Or maybe an excursion to Ebeltoft or a hike in Mols Bjerge?
If you feel like staying in the cottage, you can take the baskets of markers, coloring books and beads from the shelf in the pink room. On a chilly day, fire up the wood-burning stove and sit around the dining table to immerse yourselves in creative pursuits for a few hours. If the weather is mild and sunny, you can take it all out onto the terrace and let your creativity be accompanied by birdsong and the warm breeze. At the end of the day, fire up the grill, set out the platters of goodies and enjoy the mild evening air in each other's company before darkness falls.

My husband Mogens and I are both self-employed with busy lives, and our holiday home is our beloved oasis. We wanted to create an atmosphere that invites coziness and relaxation. We feel that the house welcomes us and says: "Nice of you to come". We often invite our children, children-in-law and grandchildren or friends to join us. Life is lived slowly with a fire in the stove, a little wine in the glass and stone painting or beadwork with the kids.
The house is originally from 1974 and built in white opal stone. We have laid out the grounds according to the "Wild at Will" principle with a swamp fence, long grass, mowed paths and flower beds with wild flowers. We enjoy not having to spend a lot of time gardening when we're at the cottage and we love sitting on the terrace watching butterflies and insects frolic in the garden. The 100 square meter terrace we have built alongside the house, together with the beautiful grasses and the wild rose hedge, gives a cottage atmosphere from the moment we pull into the driveway.
We're never at the cottage without passing the beach, which is only a 10-minute walk away. If we're at the cottage on Friday morning, we buy fresh fish or langoustines from Kutteren Margrethe at Ebeltoft harbor. On Saturday mornings, we often go into cozy Ebeltoft to shop, but also to drink a cup of exceptionally good coffee at Apelgrens on the harbor. Ebeltoft Gårdbryggeri is also worth a visit. We usually stop by when we're traveling in the area. During the summer it's possible to buy something light to eat with your drinks, but you're also welcome to bring your own food.

It was a really lovely cottage. Cozy interior and an idyllic garden. We had everything we needed, and the hosts had provided both cold and hot drinks on arrival.
