My name is Birgit, I grew up in Harre, near Vile on the Limfjord in the area around my lovely holiday home and still have a strong connection to the beautiful and diverse nature found in Harrenor and Harre Vig.
When I'm in Vile, a nice walk around the Harrenor waterfront to the unique and rare boat nausirs from the Viking Age is a must.
The cottage was built in 2018 with water views as a landmark. Whether you're inside or outside the house, you're constantly looking out towards the water. And with the water's edge right outside the garden gate, there's always something to do. Like relaxing and enjoying life on the terrace, taking a walk by the water, kayaking or cycling around the area. You can collect oysters or catch fish. Lovely bathing water, but bathing shoes are recommended due to mussels and shells.
Enjoy the evening sun on the campfire terrace or light a fire in the hot tub.
A trip to Glyngøre and around the harbor to the Old Ice House and perhaps a visit to one of the lovely local restaurants such as Limfjordens Hus, Sallingsund Færgekro or Pinenhus.
If it's shopping you're after, take a trip to Nykøbing or Skive.
In close proximity are the 3 islands of Morsø, Fur and Livø, which are also frequent destinations.
