My name is Birgit, and I grew up by the Limfjord in the area around my lovely summer house. It is beautiful here, with peace and unspoiled nature at Harrenor and Harre Vig.
Enjoy a lovely walk around the water at Harrenor and Harrebjerg to the unique and rare boat shelters from the Viking Age.
The summer house was built in 2018 and has fantastic water views from all rooms. And with the water's edge just outside the garden gate, there is always something to do. Relax and enjoy life on the terrace or in the garden with games, take a walk by the water, go kayaking or take a bike ride in the area. You can gather oysters or catch fish. There are several nice swimming spots in the area, but bathing shoes are recommended due to mussels and shells.
Enjoy the evening sun on the bonfire terrace or light up the wilderness bath.
Visit Glyngøre and enjoy the harbor and the old ice house. You may wish to visit one of the wonderful local restaurants such as Limfjordens Hus, Sallingsund Færgekro, or Pinenhus.
If you prefer shopping, Nykøbing or Skive are good options.
There is a nice grocery store in Glyngøre.
The three islands of Morsø, Fur, and Livø are nearby and are also wonderful destinations for day trips.
