In the family room there is room for play, games, creativity, talk around the dining table and lazing with your legs up on the sofa while preparing delicious cottage dishes in the kitchen. Upstairs you can go to sleep under the sloping roof with the window slightly ajar, so that the sound of the wind rustling in the treetops lulls you to sleep.
Between the two buildings of the cottage you will find a lovely sheltered corner for socializing, or you can spread a blanket on the grassy slope and relax while the children run and play under the open sky. From the cottage you can walk in ten minutes to the quiet beach at Båring Vig, where you will find a jetty and a beautiful view over the water towards the coast of Jutland.

Our names are Gitte and Kent. We have owned our lovely cottage since 2014. For several years we were looking for a holiday home in this beautiful and exclusive area, where all houses are located on large plots. We have done a lot to preserve the style from the 70s and 80s, where the house was built.
We are super happy with the secluded location and that the cottage and the plot exude peace and quiet. To one side we have a lovely forest, which provides a backdrop of birds chirping and frequent visits from squirrels, deer, hares and pheasants. To the other side there is an undeveloped cottage plot, which we also own. It is approx. 400 meters to a lovely beach with a jetty.
We love to go for walks in the area, for example a walk along the cliff to Varbjerg Harbor or a walk through the forest to Båringskov gl. Badehotel, which offers an excellent fish buffet. In and around Middelfart, which we often visit, there is a cozy pedestrian street with several cafes and restaurants, and the opportunity for bridge walking and walks in the lovely nature. A hike on the Hindsgavl peninsula is a treat for the soul.

We really liked the vacation home. We were allowed to pick and eat the raspberries and apples. The service during our stay was very good and very warm. The stay with Gitte and Kent was completely satisfactory. The garden was large and our children really enjoyed the time we spent there. It is not directly on the Baltic Sea, but the sea is within walking distance.
The house is very clean and each of the children had a bedroom.
