Up to 8 people can find space in this house half in absolute isolation. If the 140 m² are not enough for you or you simply feel like more space, you have the possibility to rent the entire house for a total of 12 people. Thanks to the separate entrances, terraces and screens, everyone still enjoys their own privacy.
On the first floor, in addition to the open-plan living and dining area, a bedroom with a comfortable double bed awaits you. The underfloor heating throughout the lower floor provides a pleasant warmth. In the spacious living and dining area with an area of 55 m² you can light the fireplace to make it even cozier on cold days. Through the panoramic window you have a beautiful view of the terrace and the natural garden. Upstairs, furnished with cozy whitewashed wooden floorboards, there are two bedrooms: one with a double bed and another with two single beds. In addition, there is an inviting alcove (140x200cm) in the hallway.
In the 1,000 m² garden you can fully enjoy the immediacy of nature and the vastness of the countryside - in summer you can often find cows in the fields next to the house. From the house you can walk directly across the meadows. After a long excursion you will find a place to relax in the shared sauna (can be shared with the other half of the house). On chilly days, you can relax in this cozy retreat while enjoying the view through the picture window.
Finally, a note: We love thatched roof cottages - when dealing with fire and electricity, we ask guests to take care not to expose the thatched roof to any fire risk. You will receive more detailed instructions from your host.

My name is Martje and together with my husband Olaf I live in Nordfriesland. When an old workers' cottage in our neighborhood came up for sale 10 years ago, we decided to renovate it. The most important thing for us was sustainability and the use of high-quality materials with the aim of bringing out the original character of the two halves of the house. Over the years we collected furnishings with character and renovated the house with much love and heart and soul. Today our reed house with its two halves has become a very special gem for large and small travel groups. What we love about the area is the spaciousness, the peace and the light.
