Mathias and Thomas' house with a total of two apartments is located directly on the high banks of the Eider, the largest river in Schleswig-Holstein. Large sliding windows in the living and dining area as well as in the bedroom provide plenty of light and a wide view of the surrounding nature. The large terrace invites you to enjoy breakfast close to the water. The adjacent river can also be enjoyed from various angles via the spacious green area.
Extensive sunbathing, long afternoons spent reading and barbecues in convivial company are just some of the leisure activities you can enjoy here. If you would like to spend your vacation in a larger group, you have the option of reserving the second apartment in addition to the garden floor.
There is a promenade in front of the house, from which you can reach the bathing area just 200 m away. Worthwhile excursion destinations include the nearby town of Friedrichstadt, which was built four hundred years ago in the Dutch style with canals. The extensive beaches of St. Peter Ording can also be reached in less than an hour by car.

I am Thomas and together with my partner Mathias I have realized my wish for a domicile with a view of the water by building our house on the Eider in Schleswig-Holstein. This is where we switch off from our turbulent city life in Hamburg in our free time. As an architect and interior designer, Mathias designed and decorated the house himself. We couldn't imagine a more beautiful location in this unique river landscape. The result is a place to feel good and relax that makes you forget time and space.
