Architect house with vintage classics by river

Mathias and Thomas' house with a total of two apartments is located directly on the high banks of the Eider, the largest river in Schleswig-Holstein. It was designed and decorated by Mathias himself and impresses with its unusual architecture, which is reminiscent of the American 70s. The exterior façade of the house is clad in French clay shingles.

The interior is characterized by elegant wall design, carefully selected furniture and high-quality lamps. One highlight is the round rosewood dining table and chairs with original upholstery from the 1960s. The grey-green wall color, which runs uniformly through all rooms, contributes to the coziness. Large sliding windows in the living and dining area as well as in the bedroom provide plenty of light and a wide view of the surrounding nature. The large terrace invites you to enjoy breakfast close to the water. The adjacent river can also be enjoyed from various angles via the spacious green area.

Extensive sunbathing, long afternoons spent reading and barbecues in convivial company are just some of the leisure activities you can enjoy here. If you would like to spend your vacation in a larger group, you have the option of reserving the second apartment in addition to the garden floor.

There is a promenade in front of the house, from which you can reach the bathing area just 200 m away. Worthwhile excursion destinations include the nearby town of Friedrichstadt, which was built four hundred years ago in the Dutch style with canals. The extensive beaches of St. Peter Ording can also be reached in less than an hour by car.
