Family-built log cabin at the tree line

You find yourself in a cabin that has been carefully built at the tree line, where every detail has its own story. Tools from your uncle's ski factory adorn the stairs, your grandfather's ski poles hold towels in the bathroom, and the walls are decorated with the self-made paintings.

Underfloor heating creates a cozy atmosphere on the ground floor with a corner sofa in wool fabric, two armchairs, and a fireplace. The kitchen is the heart of the home with drawer-in-drawer solutions, a full-height refrigerator, and a dishwasher. The large dining table can be extended to provide space for 12–16 people, while the TV room offers additional sleeping space.

The large outdoor area is partially covered with slate and has a fireplace and outdoor furniture. The small shed at the entrance contains firewood for cozy evenings, and there is ample parking space for two cars.

The hike to Høgevarde offers spectacular views of Eastern Norway, while the Madonna statue in Trillemarka and Haglebus mountain lodge are other nice areas. Pay a visit to the Chr. Skredsvig Hagan Museum or explore Kittelsen's home. Noresund, with its golf course and Norefjell ski resort, is a 45-minute drive away.
