Timber cabin with hottub at Lake Uddjaur

Experience the wildest side of Swedish Lapland from this timber cabin perched directly at Lake Uddjaur. Soak in the hottub and enjoy stunning views over the lake & the never ending light during summer, enjoy endless daylight as the midnight sun refuses to set. Spot the Northern lights above the lake from end of August til halfway April. The host can even send you an Aurora-alert! Wildlife passes through regularly—reindeer, moose, and countless birds.

The Nordic-style interior keeps things simple and authentic. One bedroom holds two single beds with fresh linens, while the living room's sofa converts to a bed for an extra guest. The compact kitchen overlooks the lake and includes a fridge, freezer, oven, and electric stove. A combustion toilet and shower complete the space.

Your private outdoor space stretches right to the water's edge. Direct access lets you swim, fish, or take out a kayak or rowboat (available for rent). A sauna is also available for booking. Note: From October through May, there's no running water—jerrycans are provided instead, so no hottube or shower available then.

The hosts live on the same plot and respect the guests' privacy.

Arjeplog lies 45 minutes away for supplies and services. The polar circle and Arjeplog fells are 90 minutes by car, while Norway's border sits two hours away. Hiking trails dot the landscape within an hour's drive. The last 20 kilometres follow a well-maintained gravel road.
