Unique fisherman's house from 1938 by River Sira

This unique cabin, with its original facade and truly special location, sits on the banks of the Sira River. Large windows in the living room offer views of the Sira and a sense of floating on the river. There’s room for 11 people here, and you can even have a local chef prepare meals for your group.

Original design choices characterize the interior, and you should take note of the unique details that recur throughout the cabin—such as the sink and countertop in the bathroom. Sit down by the fireplace in the living room, enjoy the view of the fjord, and feel the closeness to nature.

In the surrounding area, you’ll find 26 well-marked hiking trails. The most famous trail leads to the potholes in Brufjell, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the coast and experience a sense of accomplishment as you navigate the steep potholes. Brufjell is also part of the Magma UNESCO Geopark.

At Åna Sira Stadium, you can play disc golf, while those seeking a unique adventure can cycle the 17-kilometer-long Flekkefjord Railway between Flekkefjord and Sira on a handcar. Enjoy the nature and architecture along the way.
