I am a surgical nurse at AUH, Skejby. But when I have a free moment I rush to lovely Lyngså, and let the peace fill.
In November 2021, I fulfilled a twenty-year-old dream of a Refuge for me, my two grown daughters, son-in-law and two lovely grandchildren - a lovely cottage for several generations.
And only 150 metres from the most beautiful and child-friendly Sønderklit Beach.
We have painted the whole house ourselves, and are in the process of decorating our new sanctuary into a cosy North Jutland getaway. We even think we are getting there with our wishes to decorate the cottage with a bright, modern, light and relaxed atmosphere.
We love good second-hand finds and the bright Scandinavian style, and our goal is to furnish the house to suit middle-aged, young people and, not least, families with children. The house should be easy and at the same time practical to be in. The good gut feeling you want to experience as soon as you walk through the door is important to us.
Living so close to the beach is fantastic. Here is the breeding ground to experience nature at its best - regardless of the season.
Sitting in the garden and listening to the sea breeze is wonderfully refreshing. In addition, we enjoy seeing lots of lovely squirrels frolicking in the trees on the property, and pheasants and deer are here too - much to the delight of us all.
