I have long loved Denmark, and as I have infected my family with it, we are happy that our houseboat Bruntje could get berth at Kragenæs Marina. We love the immediate proximity to the water and the harbour atmosphere has a relaxing and calming effect on us. We head for Bruntje whenever we feel the urge to get out of the city in Berlin, where we live. For us, the holiday feeling starts immediately on the ferry crossing to Denmark. The beautiful landscape of Lolland-Falster, the sea and the relaxed way people treat each other immediately make us feel welcome.
We love the two terraces - the large roof terrace and the smaller one at the end of the boat. From here we can gaze out over the Baltic Sea and just enjoy the scenery. We also like to look at the life and atmosphere of the marina. We like to take long walks in the local area or explore it by bike before returning to our little houseboat.
