The thatched house is located directly on a private lake. The apartment on the upper floor combines historic charm with modern comfort. Oak floorboards, elegant clay plaster, and the unique half-timbered construction with floor-to-ceiling windows create a special atmosphere. The glass bay window offers you a picturesque view of the lake, forest, and the Holstein hills.

Inside, you will find a spacious living room with dining area, a separate bedroom, and an open gallery bedroom. The modern, open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, ceramic hob, microwave, and large refrigerator. Wi-Fi, TV, and radio/CD player provide entertainment.

The lovingly landscaped garden area with private lake access invites you to linger. Garden furniture and barbecue facilities are at your disposal. Enjoy your breakfast in the open air while the water birds greet you in the morning. Rowing and paddle boats as well as fishing opportunities are included in the service. A highlight is the stud farm's own garden.

The fairy garden extends across the entire property and is open for you to use freely. We ask that you be considerate of other guests' areas. Wine lovers can book a wine tasting with us.

Holstein Switzerland offers numerous excursion destinations: the nearby Holzberg Tower with its fantastic panoramic view, castles in Eutin and Plön, manor houses such as Gut Panker, and various museums. Handcar rides, a donkey park, an ostrich farm, and a children's playground at the strawberry farm round off the range of activities on offer.
