Together with our three daughters, we bought this cozy cottage in Udsholt Strand during lockdown so we could have a sanctuary close to nature and the sea. We love the location of the house in this peaceful area, just a short walk from the water. We enjoy the many opportunities to be together both inside and out, and appreciate the rich bird life and the close contact with nature in the lush garden, where deer often wander through and squirrels hop around. It's a super cozy and personally decorated holiday home close to local attractions such as 'Smedens Have' which is a nearby, very charming coffee shop and A.P. Møller Grunden, which is a beautiful protected nature area with direct access to a lovely beach.
Also close by is Rågegården, a unique protected nature area close by, on the way to Rågeleje, where it is lovely to go for a walk, just as there is Søren Kierkegaard's hiking trail towards Gilleleje, and there is a nearby Marguerite route that is great for cycling. In July, Meyer typically hosts 'The World's Best Forest Walk' with an outdoor café & restaurant, as well as lots of activities for adults and children.
If you like art, you can visit the Rudolph Tegner Museum in Dronning Mølle not far away.
