Cabin with loft near beach in Svalerødkilen

Originally built in 1972 with open ceilings and large glass surfaces, the cabin was expanded in 2018/19 with a bathroom, extra living room, office, and loft. You will find it in peaceful surroundings in Svalerødkilen, just 300 meters from the sea via a hiking trail. Here, proximity to the beach is combined with nature experiences in the cabin many call Låven.

The interior mixes old and new in a shabby chic style that gives the cabin a personal and relaxed feel. The open ceiling and the many glass surfaces create bright and airy rooms. The loft provides extra living space and sleeping space, while the extension houses a modern bathroom and workspace.

The property offers a varied outdoor environment. One half has an impressive rock formation 10-15 meters high close to the cabin, while the other half is a cultivated garden and lawn. Here, flowers, green plants, fruit trees, and berry bushes grow. There is plenty of space for ball games and outdoor activities.

Within 30 minutes you can reach Strømstad with ferries to the Koster Islands, Halden with Fredriksten Fortress and Brekke Locks, as well as Fredrikstad's old town by the Glomma River. Visit the Inspiria Science Center and Water Park in Sarpsborg, or test your skills at the Klatring på grensen climbing park.
