We are a family of four, plus a dog, who live in Eidsvoll municipality. Our cabin, located in Valdres, was completed in January 2022 and we love spending time in the mountains - summer and winter.
When we're at the cabin, our days often consist of outdoor activities. There are great opportunities for skiing, both downhill and cross-country, in the winter and beautiful hiking and fishing in the summer. The large window in the living room, where you can sit and enjoy the view of the mountain lake just below the cabin, is probably the favorite place in the cabin. "We love the mountains and we love Valdres. The cabin is therefore our dream place, where we can relax and enjoy each other's company, nature and silence. At Valdres Storhall, which is not far from the cabin, you can rent bicycles, canoes, SUP, frisbee, skates, sledges and a carry-all for a symbolic amount.
Ski resorts nearby: 3 min to Valdres Alpinsenter (also possible with ski-in, ski-out with enough snow in the terrain), cross-country ski trails right by the cabin. 1 hour to Beitostølen and 1 hour and 25 minutes to Hemsedal ski center.
