Do you dream of peace and quiet, fresh air and wide open spaces? Then this is the place for you. The holiday home is located in South Langeland, in the middle of a Natura 2000 area with wild nature, rich wildlife and the most wonderful views as far as the eye can see.

The heart of the house is the large kitchen-dining room, where you can enjoy panoramic views across the fields to the sea. Here the whole family can gather to peel fjord prawns in the kitchen, play a game of UNO at the coffee table or light up the wood-burning stove and watch a good movie. In the summer, you can open the double French doors to the covered terrace, so indoors and outdoors merge and there's plenty of opportunity to enjoy the sunshine morning, noon and night.

In the large garden there is plenty of space to romp around, and in the hammock under the trees you can relax with a good book and a view you can only dream of. Only 400 meters from the cottage you'll find the cozy jetty where you can jump into the blue wave. You can also enjoy hiking, for example at the bird sanctuary Tryggelev Nor, and end the day by relaxing in the sauna and letting your body warm up. If you're more active, there are soccer goals in the garden.

Nearby you'll find Bagenkop, which has a cozy harbor environment. And if you have the kids with you, you can visit the wild horses at Gulstav Klint. You can also take the family to the Cold War Museum Langelandsfortet. Or enjoy a nice lunch at Restaurant Generalen after a walk in the beautiful Tranekær Slotspark, where you can experience the organic land art of international artists.

Hi - we are a family of four who live in Frederiksberg, but have roots in South Funen. We bought the holiday home on Langeland to have a great place to stay during vacations and weekends, where we can also invite our family and friends to visit. We have been vacationing here for the past 15 years, so we were in no doubt that Langeland was where we wanted our holiday home. We love the nature and the peace and quiet when we're here. In the summer we often take a trip to the beach at Hesselbjerg or Ristinge, we buy fjord prawns and fresh fish from the fishermen at Ristinge Harbor, while the local groceries and breakfast bread are picked up in Humble. Rudkøbing is always worth a visit with all the small shops and cozy cafés. We also love the flea markets and peddlers' markets that can be found in several places on the island.
