From Tyskegård you can go on many fantastic cycling tours in the nearby area - in fact, there are more than 220 kilometers of cycling routes on the island. So just jump in the saddle and get going. Or lace up your hiking boots and walk the coastal hiking trail that heads towards Svaneke or Nexø. If you pass by Nexø, you'll have to buy fresh fish to take home from the island's best smokehouse. The island's most beautiful town, Svaneke, is just two kilometers to the north. With its picturesque old town center with log houses, beautiful harbor, ice cream parlors and great restaurants, it's definitely worth a visit.
