Colourful holiday villa near the beach on the island of Rügen

Rügen is a beautiful German island in the Baltic Sea, known for its miles of sandy beaches and white chalk cliffs. In the Jasmund National Park you can find original beech forests and watch sea eagles or enjoy the wide view over the sea on the Kaiserstuhl. Not far from the Kaiserstuhl is the colorful thatched villa of Frank and his family.

The interior is decorated in Scandinavian style, with white and light wood elements, homemade furniture and bold colors on the walls. The three bedrooms, one equipped with two single beds, can accommodate a total of 6 people. This makes the vacation villa a great place for families or vacation with friends. For families there is everything you need in the house: from high chair and crib to board games and many excursion destinations in the area.

A highlight on the second floor is the spacious sauna, from whose window you can look into the old chestnut tree in the garden. The well-equipped kitchen is ideal for cooking together and the large dining table (built by Frank's son) invites you to long meals and hours of conversation. In summer you can sit on the garden terrace, barbecue or snuggle up in the beach chair and forget the time there.

If you do want to get out of the house, the surrounding area offers everything you could wish for from a vacation in the country. Here, the Rügen cliffs are just around the corner, because a long walk on the beach is the best medicine against everyday stress. Or you can visit the national park and test some of the many hiking and biking trails on Rügen.
