Rügen is a beautiful German island in the Baltic Sea, known for its miles of sandy beaches and white chalk cliffs. In the Jasmund National Park you can find pristine beech forests and watch sea eagles or enjoy the sweeping views over the sea from the Kaiserstuhl. The Rügen cliffs are just around the corner, because a long walk on the beach is the best medicine against everyday stress. Or you can visit the national park and try out some of the many hiking and cycling trails on Rügen.

I'm Frank and I live with my wife in Berlin. We have been running a joinery there for 30 years and make country-style furniture. We love craftsmanship, high-quality materials and Scandinavian design.
At the weekend and on vacation, we are drawn to the countryside, especially the water - I am an enthusiastic regatta sailor. Our vacation villa on Rügen gives us a place where we can spend time with our family and switch off from everyday life near the Baltic Sea beach.
