Around the Bunken area there is plenty to see and do. Cycling and hiking are particularly popular, and you can use the cycle path all the way to Skagen. Try taking a trip to the Tversted lakes, visiting flea shops or enjoying lunch at Hirseriet. You can also go shopping in Ålbæk, enjoy a cold beer at 'Det bette ølhus' or have lunch at Skaldyrshuset.

Welcome to our little black Kalmar cottage in Bunken dune plantation.
We love spending our free time in Northern Jutland, and when we drive onto the Hirtshals mortar road, we can feel our shoulders drop.
We drive past the small and very beautiful Råbjerg church, and then we can see the mile stretching out on the horizon.
The smell of pine hits your nostrils when you step out of the car, and the feeling of having come home hits us.
We spend the days walking or cycling in the area, and in the summer we enjoy the North Sea or the Kattegat.
The area is centrally located to Skagen, Frederikshavn, Hjørring or Aalborg.
Denmark's northernmost golf course Hvideklit is almost in the backyard.
There are plenty of opportunities for sightseeing, but also for relaxation.
We love to enjoy life and the relaxed atmosphere in our little black house, and in summer life is lived outdoors.
