Baroque half-timbered house in Königsberg
Franconia
House

You will be staying in a listed 18th-century half-timbered house with a baroque archway. The house has been lovingly renovated and combines historical charm with thoughtful design. The large garden with stone walls, terrace, and centuries-old pear tree offers privacy and a special microclimate.
On the ground floor, you will find a living room with a tiled stove and large dining table, as well as a well-equipped kitchen with an induction stove and wine refrigerator. The elaborately restored wooden floors with Franconian cross (a special type of flooring in Franconia) and the original windows create a warm atmosphere. On the first floor, there are three bedrooms and bathrooms, and on the second floor, there are two large rooms with views of the village and vineyard.
The romantic garden surrounds the house with plenty of seating under old trees. The high stone wall ensures peace and privacy. On the large terrace, you can enjoy the view of the surrounding vineyards.
Lower Franconia is also known as Franconian Tuscany. Königsberg enchants visitors in summer with its famous rose blossoms and countless roses. Walk straight from your front door to traditional beer gardens serving regional beer. Visit Bamberg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with the only papal tomb north of the Alps, or discover castles along the German Half-Timbered House Road.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.

- Relaxing in the romantic garden with an old pear tree
- Visit Bamberg and the German Half-Timbered Houses Route
I am an art historian and have been renovating the house myself since 2016. It has been in our family for generations and was the country estate of my great-grandmother, the chemist Dr. Auguste Kirchner. I have preserved many historical elements and created a place that embodies tranquility.
