Maritime holiday home secluded on the dike

Surrounded by an idyllic landscape of trees, Andrea and Ralf's house is situated on an old dyke dating back to the 13th century. From here you have a wide view over the Eiderstedt peninsula with its marshes and dykes. The nearby sea and the diverse flora and fauna invite you to take long walks and cycle tours in the immediate vicinity.

The interior of the house has been completely renovated, but has retained its special charm as an old dyke cottage from the 1930s. A wall design inspired by the sea and lovingly selected furnishings create a maritime ambience. The heart of the house is the large eat-in kitchen on the first floor with dining table and tiled stove. On the same level you will find the bedroom with a comfortable queen-size double bed. From here you have a direct view of the lovingly designed garden with its numerous retreats.

Enjoy long evenings with a glass of wine on the terrace by the campfire or make yourself comfortable on the large sofa under the pointed roof on the upper floor. The adjoining balcony with far-reaching views of the surrounding meadows promises pure freedom. Here you can soak up the sun during the day and enjoy the incredible sight of the sun setting on the horizon in the evening.

Good to know: 2 dogs are very welcome here - however, the property is only fenced on three sides towards the street.

Due to the adjacent road and the sheep, goat and horse paddocks directly adjacent to the property, we recommend that you keep your four-legged friends on a lead on the property. We will be happy to provide you with a long leash.

The staircase to the living room on the upper floor is a steep space-saving staircase. This is less suitable for guests who are unsure of their footing and for dogs.

The driveway to the property is monitored by camera during unoccupied periods.
