For us, the best thing about the cottage is the tranquility and nature around us. It's a nice contrast to the city life we come from. It's amazing to open the patio doors and be greeted by light and green trees. Deer regularly visit the garden.
When we're not outside, we spend most of our time in the living room, which we love. It's bright and cozy! The annex is also a hit for children to drag over for a pillow fight.
We often go for a walk to the water - which you can see from the house. The water is shallow and warm and very child-friendly. There is also a jetty where you can catch crabs. We walk along the fjord and return home through the cottage neighborhood, which has a cozy rural feel.
We also like to go to flea markets in the area and let our son have a chat with the local horses. We're still quite new here and definitely have many undiscovered destinations to explore. We'll keep you posted!
