The forests in Brandenburg are perhaps the most beautiful in Germany. They run through the slightly hilly landscape, are interrupted by heavenly blue bathing lakes and are soothing for body and soul. David's brick house is situated on a small hill in the forest, directly between two beautiful bathing lakes that invite you to take a morning swim at sunrise.
David and his family have lovingly furnished the small side house. It has everything you need for a relaxing vacation in nature: a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining table that seats everyone and comfortable beds on a small mezzanine level under the wooden gabled roof. And because a nature vacation is much better with a campfire (at least we think so), there is a fire pit in the garden where you can sit together on cozy evenings and admire the starry sky - don't worry, David provides mosquito spray for his guests so that you can enjoy the summer nights undisturbed.
If you fancy getting some exercise on your vacation, you can take the canoe and let off steam on the lakes, admire nature or follow the beaver tracks on the shore. A long walk through the forest is also the best medicine against everyday stress and you'll forget the noise of the city as soon as you arrive in the forest clearing.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you’re bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.

Here you are surrounded by a beautiful forest and in the immediate vicinity of two lakes
The starry sky can be admired particularly well here at night
The cozy sleeping areas under the wooden gabled roof bring back long-forgotten childhood dreams
I'm David, I love nature and put a big focus on the environment in my life. I work as an entrepreneur & consultant in the field of climate protection and sustainability, live in Berlin with my wife and our children and enjoy spending weekends and vacations at our house in the countryside.
My favorite place to be is at sunrise at Teufelssee, which is one of two lakes within walking distance of the house. Lazing around in the garden (preferably in the hammock) or rowing a boat on the Tornowsee, which is the other lake in the immediate vicinity of the house, is particularly fun here.
We have created a place here that focuses on sustainability. For example, we pump our water from the groundwater well and use our purification and filter system to produce top-quality drinking water. We also have our own solar system, which supplies us with electricity for the heat pump and our electrical appliances: everything is as climate-friendly as possible and we are delighted about this and hope that you will also enjoy your stay in our nature-loving Waldhaus.

You have a great, cozy, incredibly lovingly and modern renovated house! We really enjoyed it and were able to relax!
The surroundings are exactly as described, you can walk around a lot and discover the various lakes. The ruined restaurant, the campsite next door, which is closed in winter, and the barracks of the GDR vacation accommodation opposite were a little disconcerting. These impressions of the surroundings came as a surprise.
