The forests in Brandenburg are perhaps the most beautiful in Germany. They stretch across the gently rolling landscape, interrupted by heavenly blue swimming lakes, and are soothing for both body and soul. David's brick house is located on a small hill in the forest, right between two beautiful swimming lakes that invite you to take a morning swim at sunrise.
David and his family have lovingly furnished the small annex. Here you will find everything you need for a relaxing vacation in nature: a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining table that seats everyone, and cozy beds on a small mezzanine under the wooden gabled roof. And because a nature vacation is much better with a campfire (at least in our opinion), there is a fire pit in the garden where you can sit together on cozy evenings and admire the starry sky—don't worry, David provides mosquito repellent for his guests so that you can enjoy the summer nights undisturbed.
If you feel like getting active on vacation, you can take the canoe and burn off some energy on the lakes, admire nature, or follow the beaver tracks on the shore. A long walk through the forest is also the best medicine for everyday stress, and you'll forget the noise of the city as soon as you arrive at the forest clearing.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.

Here you are surrounded by beautiful forest and in close proximity to two lakes
The starry sky can be admired particularly well here at night
The cozy sleeping places under the wooden gabled roof bring long-forgotten childhood dreams to life
I'm David, I love nature and place a big focus on the environment in my life. I work as an entrepreneur and consultant in the field of climate protection and sustainability, live with my wife and our children in Berlin, and enjoy spending weekends and holidays at our house in the countryside.
My favorite thing to do is watch the sunrise at Teufelssee, one of two lakes within walking distance of the house. Lazing around in the garden (preferably in the hammock) or rowing a boat on Tornowsee, the other lake in the immediate vicinity of the house, is also great fun.
We have created a place here where sustainability is a priority. For example, we pump our water from the groundwater well and produce top-quality drinking water with our purification and filtration system. We also have our own solar power system that supplies us with electricity for the heat pump and our electrical appliances: everything is made as climate-friendly as possible, which we are delighted about, and we hope that you too will enjoy your stay in our nature-loving forest house.

A beautiful house, perfectly furnished. What means a lot to us personally is the natural materials used in the bedding, as well as the fact that the mattresses are very comfortable to sleep on. (We used the small bedroom.) The surroundings are very authentic, and the nature, lakes, and forests are simply breathtakingly beautiful!
