We are a family of four - two adults and two big teenagers, who enjoy vacation days/weekends in our lovely holiday home near Silkeborg both together and separately. We have decorated ourselves with a personal touch and have modernized the house ourselves, which was originally built in 1938. The house is small and cozy - there isn't room for much, but that's also the charm, we think.
The house has only had one owner before us, and we love the fine family history that we have been told by the previous owners. When we're here, we make extensive use of the lake, Thorsø, below the garden for boating and swimming. The forest invites you for lovely walks or mountain bike rides in the area. We enjoy the amazing silence in the middle of the forest and the view down over the lake.
